Acquire And Takeover From The Government Of Maharashtra All Assets Belonging To It And Situate At Any Place Within Or Outside The State Of Maharashtra And Which Were Being Or Are Being Or Can Be Used In Any Manner Whatsoever In Connection With Any Activity Or Enterprise Relating To Tourism Together With Liabilities, If Any, Thereof And In Particular To Takeover All Tourist Homes, Tourist Bunglows, Holiday Camps, Travellers Bunglows, State Guest Houses, Camping And Caravanning Sites, Pavilions And Dormitories, Together With The Catering Establishments Attached Thereto, Tourist Information Bureau, Youth Hostels, Convention Centers, Electric Works And Water Works And Thereafter To Run The Same With A View To Promoting And Developing In The State Of Maharashtra, Tourism Both Internal As Well As International. To Acquire By Purchase, Lease Or Otherwise Howsoever, Maintain And Develop All Places Of Tourist Interest Like Wild Life Sanctuaries, Parks, Beaches, Beauty And Recreational Spots In The State Of Maharashtra. To Aid, Assist, Counsel, Protect, Organise, Initiate, Promote And Accelerate Cultural Activities In All Fields Including Those Of Cinema, Dramatics, Folk Art Including Tamasha Music, Including Those Of Dance And Other Performing Arts
